Hey everyone. I'm 18 years old and getting my NWCG S-130 and S-190 certifications this May and I'm interested in doing some wildland firefighting this summer to help pay for college. I live in Oregon, and would like to stay here but I can travel. I don't have any experience, but I know that a lot of the time you don't even need it. I started looking at the Department of Forestry website to get a government job, are there other ways of finding jobs with the government? I'm also interested in working for a private company, but I just don't know where to look. If anyone could help out and give me some resources to find some jobs, that would be great. Thanks!
