How long does it take Fema to transfer the grant money into the bank account???

Once you have sumitted a request for payment, you should recieve an e-mail back. The e-mail should state that your payment request for $$$$$$ has been approved. An electronic payment will be made to the account identified on the 1199A within 3 to 5 business days.

I submitted a request late Tuesday and recieved an e-mail today that it had been accepted. I have had one request take about 5 days before I recieved a confirmation.
