Hey does any one know if California accepts the FF 1 and 2 from the Training Division online program.

The course is approved by the State of Texas, an International Fire Service Accredited Certification (IFSAC) state. During the Boot Camp, students will sit for the Texas test and would therefore be issued IFSAC certificates usually allowing that student to transfer certification with other IFSAC states. The certifications awarded are Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazmat Awareness, and Hazmat Operations. This international process is valid in Canada. Check with your local jurisdiction for details on their individual IFSAC process.

I'm afraid not. California is one of the few states that isn't ifsac compliant. If you go to their web site @ www.ifsac.org and click on the members button on the left you can check out what states and countries comply with ifsac and therefore would be transferable.
