Hiring in MA

I currently have my NREMT and firefighter 1 and 2 which I completed in FL. Is this training worth anything in Massachussetts? I know the EMT is, but was wondering if the academy down here would put me higher on a list in Boston, or any town in MA. Thanks!!....

I dont know about cert. tranferability but the hiring prospects in MA are EXTREMELY slim right now. A lot of departments are laying off....any rare opening usually goes to a laid off FF. Good luck though.
