Whats up everyone!
I'm Justin
21 years old
Completed my NREMT-B training/testing 3 or 4 months ago now. Licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota.
My life in Emergency Services started when I was 17. My dad had been part of the local volunteer ambulance and fire/rescue services for a few years and I would always run to the window to watch him head out for a call. Finally I decided I wanted to become a part of it all, so I got myself enrolled in a First Responder class. It was while taking those courses I decided... if I"m going to be on the ambulance, why not be on the fire department too! Took my first call with the fire department within a week or two (an interesting call at that!) and haven't been able to get away from it since! Just recently went through (and completed) EMT-B training and obtained licenses in ND and MN... Hoping I can find a job while I finish up the last year+ of college that'll make use of that EMT-B training. (maybe with the local ALS service that'll lead to paramedic school when I graduate!)
Why I'm here?
Stumbled in while trying to dig up options for some 'Fightin iron' for the front of our F550 Light Rescue unit.
That's all I've got for the time being..
now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
