Im having a hard time right now since I had a tiff with my first fire house and I no longer work for them. Im watching Firehouse USA a lot and its starting to get to me how much I miss the job.

I failed my state written and pysichal tests once so far. I hope to pass the written on Oct 27th. Its hard. Physical I failed ropes twice so I have to retake it on Dec 17th. Brrr.

Im from Wisconsin and I am not sure if I want to go to school for this or just see where it goes. Not a lot of places around here require the degree.

Keep working out and studying for the tests.
And to avoid tiffs at the firehouse, remember what my Grandma always said"When you come home and there's a big bucket of manure in the living room, the first thing you want to do might not ought to be to kick it."

If you brought that halfassed attitude to a my dept, you'd get the boot!
My advice is to first decide if being a firefighter is what you really want to do and if it is, then go for it whole hog! Until then you are wasteing everyones time, including your own. This is a "GO GET EM" business and if you have a less than dedicated attitude its gonna stand out like a skunk in a dog show. Good luck.
