Hey everyone....I'm finally turning the big 2-1 in November and am planning a night out in the city with a bunch of the guys from my station. We only have 1 place on our list for the evening and that would be Mcsorleys Pub. Any ideas of any other places that we could visit for the special evening? We got ourselves a limo so driving will not be a problem....any ideas are appreciated thanks....

Dont go Hoggin when you get drunk. Dont get mugged. Dont pass out with your friends, especially if they have a permanent marker arount(know that from experience)

If you're up in Times Square area...Hit Scruffy Duffy's...it's on 8th Ave between 46th and 47th St's..When I was down there for a week in April for my medic class, I spent almost every night there (a block from our hotel). Nice Irish bar with big tv's to watch the games.

Thanks for the ideas guys....I plan on being VERY VERY careful.....Especially in NYC....I chose the group to hang out with very wisely for my 21st B-day so they do not draw on me...leave me in NYC etc...lol....Plus I know my Limits....So hopefully it'll be a good time!!

Don't let the little head think for the big one.
If you do "get lucky"... remember,it's cool to protect your tool!
Stay out of tatoo parlors.
The more you drink , the prettier ugly women become.

Hey Gonz, don't forget...
If you think you got lucky and you are surprised how easy it was, be afraid. Be very afraid.
Check for extra "parts".

Chumleys' - Bedford St & Barrow St in Grenwich Village (old speakeasy)
Minetta's Tavern - MacDougal & Minetta Ln in Grenwich Village (low key nice place)
McFadden's = 42nd & 2nd - Midtown East (club type)
Doc Watsons - 77th & 2nd - Upper East Side
Brother Jimmy's - 77th & 2nd - Upper East Side across from Doc Watsons
Tin Lizzy's - 82ish & 2nd - Upper East Side
There are a ton of good places up and down 2nd Ave in the upper 70's all the way up to the upper 80's.
I am sure there are other good places too.
Happy Birthday, have a good time and be careful

What not hanging out in exciting South Amboy?!?
I did my 21st crawling around New Brunswick (NJ). Don't really remember too much, just my older friends kept edging me on to 25 total shots...
PS. you know it's a slammin' 21st when you aren't the only one F'ed up. If everyone around you is as hammered, you're doing just fine.
PSS. Happy Birthday!
PSSS. What about Hoboken? dozens of bars in just a few blocks?

That's not true Gonz... it goes something like this.
"You don't get prettier the more I drink, I just care less"

Resq14, I like the first clip best.
Anyway, if the rangers are playing you might want to consider hitting the garden or espn zone for dinner and "pregame". I've found that the comedy clubs are great, it will kill an hour or two you can keep drinking, just try to blend in though or you will be a target. There are plenty of great little bars I like to just go and find ones that lood packed. The limo is a good idea although it might suck waiting for it in between different spots, I always liked the train.
Also I've found it best to keep my id's in my left pants pocket and money in the right it is a lot harder to lose a wallet you don't have.

I totally forgot about those two bars. I hit those, along with a few others that I can't remember, with my cousin when I was down there. I was still in shock that a pint draft was $5.50...I guess that's one good thing about living in the "country"

George - Good thing the State of VA isn't as anti-bear hunt as NJ or that game would have been even uglier. Unfortunately JMU proceeded to go ahead an lose a mud-bowl at UMass this weekend.

October 22, 2005 -- A Firefighter had his birthday bash dropped $241,000 during one wild night at Scores was an insatiable customer who hired a virtual harem of lap dancers, a strip club source told the Daily News yesterday.
Engine58, 21, a Firefighter, took over the exclusive President's Club when he showed up with some cronies the night of Oct. 22, 2005, the source said. In the mirrored room, popular with high rollers and celebrities, the stripper enthusiast demanded 10 dancers lavish him with attention at the eye-popping cost of $4,000 an hour. When their time was up, Engine58 insisted club managers bring more girls - and keep them coming. "I need 10 more," he would say after the hour's entertainment was over, waving his arms like he was motioning a jumbo jet in for a landing, according to the source. "This went on for numerous hours," the insider said. By the time Engine58 left the East Side flesh emporium, he had run up a tab of nearly a quarter-million dollars on his no-limit corporate American Express card, Scores said.
LeuitEFDems it looks as if he took your advice
