In process of getting hired: Few questions

I live in the state of Missouri

1) Where would I go to get my BTLS certification

2) What should I study for the FSEE (Fire Service Entrance Exam)? I don't even have a clue what's on it.

3) Where do I go if I want a firefighter survival course and Haz-mat Tech?

Well i just went through their application and testing process. As far as BTLS cert, Blue River Community College puts on a good program in Independence. Up north Parkville, or maple woods, out in KCK, JOCO. Studying for the test, well there are several books out there to help you prepare for the test. But with Kansas City FD, there process is differnet then alot of departments. Their oral board is in front of two cameras and a tape recorder, then sent off to some commercial place for scoreing.
