On friday, June 16. I am scheduled for an interview with the department of my dreams. Need Help on what to wear as far as color combinations go, keep it plain or stand out? Also need tips on interviewing and what to prepare for, anything will help.
Thank you,
Ryan

Ryan,
First of all make certain you wear a suit and tie. Colors don't really matter as long as they're conservative. Heck, the average firefighter may own one suit. Many of us don't even own one (there's a reason we are firefighters).
As far as what to expect from your interview, the link below should answer most of your questions.

For me, I have found success with a charcoal grey with pinstrips. The tie is either a red or yellow. I am not going to recommend the red for an interview, but for some reason, it has really worked for me socially. (Cant explain it)

We just talked about this is my class. Always wear a suit and tie. The instructor said that a black suit with a blue shirt and black tie always works. He also said you will be nervous, if you aren't you are to damn ****y and I wouldn't hire you. Your palms will get sweaty, it's ok just put them together in your lap. Don't spend the entire interview wiping them off. sit up straight and speak lod enough to be heard well. this is what we covered just the other day.
