I am 21 years old, living in georgia and I am very intrested in becoming a firefighter. Other that my CDL license and certificate what else can i be doing while I wail for the application period thats 4 months away? Should I look into an EMS class? IDK...

If you have time, EMS could only help your chances. You could also try FireFighter II class, but (at least in my state) you have to be at least sponsored by a Dept. To take the class. I would suggest EMS, or if you could volunteer somewhere to get some exp.
