I'm looking into building a weather station that would give me:
Temp, RH, and a Fuel Moisture Sensor (1 hr &/or 10 hr fuels)

I would also like to gather and store the data in a Database.
I would then build a website to display that data.
Anyone built a weather station similiar to this or purchased one?

I'm just starting the research process. Any direction, advice, or information would be great.

I have an Oregon Scientific weather station I use at home (model # WMR986). It's a wireless system with the remote sensors on a mast I attached to my roof. The base station has a 9 pin cable for interface with a laptop or pc. I 'm not currently using the interface. The station works great. The remote sensors have solar cells with battery back-up. The system costs about $300. The only problem I have is the anemometer will ice-up at times. Other wise it's been reliaible.

Here is a link to the Rocky Mountain Area Cordination Centers web site.

If you go to the fuels area you can get this info from their raws sites. No need to spend alot of money for something that is already being done.
