Ladies gear?

Hi there everyone! Another season of wildland is here, and as usual, my webgear is not comfy, and doesnt fit correctly! I am a female ff/emt-p in search of webgear geared towards a ladies build. You know shorter waisted with those "front bumps"! I have been in the business for quite some time and have yet to find anything made for us! Does anyone know where to get such gear? I am f/t paid, and want work gear I can wear and not cringe at! If you have any suggestions please share, if not, have a safe season! Beverly

I, and other female personel, would love new gear.....what we are using now is far too large in the shoulder straps. Not in they're width, but length. They are too long even after tightening them up as much as they can. We still end up having upto 6" extra. What ends up happening is a lot of slack, with the actual supply packs around the waist resting on our hips......

Check out www.truenorthgear.com, they make packs for smaller stature people. The packs are also almost infinitely adjustable. I can get you a good deal on them as well.

It is hard to find a pack that fits females well, but I really like the Nimrod packs. They sit a lot better on the hips, and adjust a lot.
