I happened to have my pager open when this call came and monitored it and firefeeds during the event. The IC system was implemented superbly IMHO from what I heard over my pager and firefeeds. I wasn't on this scene as I am not on M.G. or MPLS fire.
Tones where paged out with 10 trapped under a collapse. Maple Grove station 5 immediately requested station 4 be paged out as well. First M.G. officer to arrive requested Minneapolis heavy rescue team for extraction. Minneapolis arrived within 20-25 minutes of call (This is about a 20 minute drive depending on where in Minneapolis they are stationed. An excellent response.) They worked for about 20 minutes shoring the structure with 4x4's wedges and bottle jacks before extracting the trapped victim.
