Has anyone been able to find a the schedule for AFG sessions that FEMA is usually putting on at this time of the year? I've been checking and either I can't find a listing or they haven't posted one yet......

Nothing has been posted on the website, but Massachusetts seminars are posted on the fire academy website. Six have been scehduled from 3/4-3/6.

The Federal Grant Writing Seminars can be located here:

Registration can be done online.

Since they're behind with everything going on at once best bet would be to check the state fire school contacts like Bugle since that's usually where they set them up. Local FPSs might have an idea also.

Hey Steve--could you get them to push that back to the 19th?? I have a surgery scheduled for the 20th. That'll keep me off-center (more than normal) for a few days.

Shoot, if i could push it, it would be 2 weeks sooner, not a day later!!

I did get the Indiana workshop schedule yesterday---
21-Feb Fishers Fire 1300 hrs (Training room)
21-Feb New Castle Fire 1900 hrs (Henry County Justice Center)
25-Feb Renssalaer Fire 1900 hrs (Fire Station)
26-Feb New Haven-Adams Twp Fire 1300 hrs (Fire Station)
26-Feb Plymouth Fire 1900 hrs (Fire Station)
27-Feb Greensburg Fire 1300 hrs (City Hall)
27-Feb Scottsburg Fire 1900 hrs (Fire Dept)
28-Feb Bloomington Fire 1300 hrs (Station 2)
28-Feb Jasper Fire 1900 hrs (City Hall)
29-Feb Terre Haute Fire 1300 hrs (Landsbaum Center)
1-Mar Marion Fire 1300 hrs (Indiana Weslyan Univ, Student Center)
3-Mar Vincennes Fire 1900 hrs (Vincennes Univ, Tech Bldg Auditorium)

All times are local (IN has at least 2 time zones, sometimes more :D ). Departments listed are the Sponsoring Department. Up to now i've been the only one from our dept to attend these, but since a few others have been exposed to Kurt--we'll probably end up with about 4 from our dept n attendance. Makes it a lot easier to have several members understand the process better.

Exposed to Kurt, Careful how you say that Earl you may cause a panic. One of my city pd guys is in Kurts class in Atlanta, just hope he took one of their four wheel drives and his dog along to help them sing.
