Previously a volunteer firefighter/paramedic with Danville Fire and Rescue. I used to work full-time as a paramedic for Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant and was also a part-time paramedic for Lee County EMS in Donnellson...down in the SE part of the state near Burlington.

As of May '06, I moved to the Des Moines area and am employed as a full-time paramedic with Dallas County EMS in Adel where I am the president of Local 4127 IAFF.

I am also a part-time paramedic for the city of West Des Moines EMS and in the Air & Mobile Emergency Transport Services Department at Mercy Medical Center- Des Moines.

I do miss firefighting as a vollie...

Another couple of years and the wife will be done with residency and we'll move again...hopefully somewhere I can vollie again!
