Just wondering what the starting salary is in FL? My friends planning on going to the academy and wanted me to ask what the starting salary is.

It depends on what department he wants to work for. In Central Florida, the average starting pay can be from $28k to $40. Also depends on whether he has EMT or Paramedic with his state cert.
