Seminole County Departments Hiring??

Does anyone work for or know if any of the departments are currently or about to hire??

I just took the Seminole skills test, so I was curious if anyone knew anything??

unless your a medic, good luck....Oviedo: only hires medics or medic students, sanford: really only looking for medics, casselberry: only will hire you if you agree to go to medic school, winter springs: possibly, longwood: possibly...the county: you should be alright, but they are hurting for medics right now also...

Right now the county is only hiring medics. We just hired 7 and they will start in about a month. So if your a medic and want a job apply now.

Not to derail your question but , given the current state of affairs in the sunshine state I was wondering if it looks like all counties are heading in this direction ? Meaning when this tax nonsense bounces back will this be the norm ? Have to be a para-medic to even get a job ? And on a presonal note , how is it viewed from a hiring stand point if you have someone who might be highly speacalized in other areas (water op's for me , instructors ratings ,capts liscence, Commercial ratings ect ect) given that the need was there . how might that stack up against a Medic rating ?

So is Orange County, but I doubt they will find enough FF/PMs to fill the ranks.

Well I found out last week that we are going to be hiring both EMT's and Medics this october. So get your application in there. Also I think they will hire again in May or around there.
