Default On Way to Start a fire season

Here it is the middle of April and we have already lost 4, that I know of, fire fighters to wildland fire fighting..
1 from Emmitsburg Md. 2 from Kentucky, and now 1 from Massachusetts.
May our thoughts be with their families.

And for the rest of US....HEADS UP

READ THE MAY ISSUE OF FIREHOUSE. I went to the fire scene in Russell, Mass. and spoke with the Fire Chief and other personnel. The story will be in the May issue about the 1200 acre SWI fire that led to the LODD of Deputy Fire Chief John Murphy, a 30 year veteran of the Russell VFD.
