Question Urban Interface Assesments

Do any Depts currently Do Assesments on Residence Locations within the Interface Environment, If so what does it take as far as Man Hours and Man Power, is there specific assesment Procedures/Paperwork and where can we find it

Your own Texas Forest Service should be able to get that requested information for you.

Another avenue is the Boulder (Colorado) City Fire Department. Contact the Wildland Fire Coordinator at 303-441-3350. That City and its County have produced an assesment system called "WHIMS" that answers your question.

Another place you might look is the Colorado State Forest Service Web site
http://www.colostate.edu/Depts/CSFS/fire/mitplan.pdf

This is the plan we use (with minor modification) to evaluate homesites in our neck of the woods.
