SWI EXPO '99 PRESENTATION CANCELED

My apologies to those of you who came to hear my presentation about "Engine Company Operations in the SWI" during the Saturday session of the FIREHOUSE EXPO '99 and found out that it had been "CANCELED."

The reason for cancellation was due to the fact that U.S. Airways Airlines abruptly canceled the flight that was to take me to Baltimore. Other flights were canceled as well and I could not get from Boston to Baltimore on Friday. There were a couple of hundred other angry passengers waiting in line ahead of me at the ticket desks.

"Wait 'til next year!"

With that kind of track record, maybe by next year U.S. Airlines will be canceled!
The airlines in general are poor service providers, but, this is really BAD. Hope your luck improves.
