Default Firefighter family accountability & shelter

Carmel Fire Dept. is researching a policy/procedure to notify the family of an on-duty firefighter in case of a terrorist attack or natural disaster. For example checking on the well being of the family, and notifying the family of the firefighter's condition. This may also include providing shelter and support for families in certain situations. If you have any policies in place or ideas please contact us.
