Default Firefighter Training Requirements

I am doing some research on the MINIMUM requirement for a brand new firefighter to be able to begin structural firefighting. I want to know what your state laws requires for training. I also would like to know what the MINIMUM requirement is to be a fire officer in your state.

There is a required 20 hour school IF YOU are not a Cert. Fire Fighter. You can go to Kentucky State Fire Marshall web page and get alot of info on cert. If you are a Level one IFSAC cert. FF you will come on ready to catch a truck.
