Unhappy Perry County Coal Miner Killed

Perry County Miner Killed

feb 16th

Another Kentucky miner has died in yet another mining accident.

A state government spokesman says a rock fell on a miner at the Perry County Coal Corporation mine near Hazard.

The worker killed is Tim Caudill from Viper, a roof bolter who'd been with the company five years.

The state is investigating the death and says the company has a good record.

This is the third Kentucky coal mining death this year.
