Default Previous Years Closeouts

Brian,or anyone else that has info,
My Deputy Chief recieved an email from you several days ago about problems with the closeouts not being done on previous years grants, so I checked ours from 04 and the closeout link was still there so I opened it up and everything in there showed complete and I had also recieved an email from them stating that my closeout stuff had been accepted. I went ahead and emailed the help desk and they replied stating that my closeout was going thru the closeout process and that there were many steps in this and they would be in contact if they needed anything else. We didnt recive or 04 award untill 05 and close it out in early 06. I'm concerned about tis because we recived the 07 award number for vehicle on 04 1199a several weeks ago but have not recieved questions or anything. Just concerned. Again thanks to all you smart guys who are on here and post and allow us dummies to be able to write successful grants.

As long as they are processing it, things are all good. Some have never even submitted a closeout, others never saw that it had been reopened or there were questions. Last year was when they started coming down hard on people and passing them up for the next award because of the closeouts not being done, so I just wanted to make sure that everyone took a look and made that contact like you did to ensure you had done your part. Tis better to call them, than them to call you.
