California to Texas FF transfer
Im thinking of moving to texas and i have my EMT and My California FF 1 through a basic Fire Academy. I have a little fire experience as a resident firefighter. Does anyone have any idea if any of my certs transfer over and is the testing process similar to californias?

Texas Fire Certs
Texas is an IFSAC state. So I believe IFSAC certs will transfer ( I may be wrong though). However, you'd have to have IFSAC FF1, FFII, Hazmat Awareness, and Hazmat Ops.
And I presume your EMT is National Registry? If so, then you'll have no trouble transfering that to Texas. That, I am sure of.
The rest, call up the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.
