    Post Dash Lights

I just bought a red and white scrobe dash light. But the white light is overriding the red. Do anyone have any suggestions on how i can make the red light appear brighter?

That's the problem with the split lens, the white light is more readily apparent than the color filter. My only suggestion would be to get an all red lens.

There is one in one of our command vehicles. It only appears that the white over rides the red. They actually both work quite well. Especially at night.

The only way your going to get rid of your problem is to get rid of the white lens and replace it with another red like stated above.

Or you could just go LED, much brighter and crisper flashes, and you dont have the problem with white drowning out red as much.

I had the same problem with my dash strobe. I took some car window tint and placed it on the white side and it helped alot. I got a light shaded tint that way I could use more then one sheet if I needed it darker. It alot cheaper then getting a new dash light and you still have the advanages or white and red. I got my tint a walmart.
