I'm looking for some advice on what kind of receiver to buy. I'm hooking up 14 in ceiling speakers throughout my house and patios. Each speaker is a 180 watt 2 way. I plan to use a speaker selector box, the one that connects to the receiver and splits the speakers into different zones. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Get a receiver that has at least 2 zones in it.......
That way, you can be watching a movie in the living room with the surround sound on and your wife can be outside picking up dog poo listening to the stereo at the same time through the same receiver......
I have a Denon A/V Receiver that does it. Mine is a little older because I don't have any HDMI plugs, but it still does the job for me.......
You're putting individual volume controls in for each set of speakers, aren't you??The comments made by me are my opinions only. They DO NOT reflect the opinions of my employer(s). If you have an issue with something I may say, take it up with me, either by posting in the forums, emailing me through my profile, or PMing me through my profile.
