Looking for some Pants...
Hey guys, I'm trying to find some new uniform pants. I've been thinking of getting Pro Tuff's because the full time firefighters wear them, but I want to know a few thing like are they comfortable and do they last for good amount of time. Thanks for the help! The words I post here are my own. They do not reflect the opinions of the organizations I am affilliated with.

Are you looking for a traditional style or BDU?

I wear blue pants.
I could really care less who makes my pants. As long as they fit and are somewhat comfortable, I could care less.
Some guys go out and get the ones with the knee pads and the nomex space fabric or whatever. I just wear pants.------------------------------------

whfdExplorer: I'd recommend going to a local uniform store, and seeing what they have to say, and maybe trying some on. I don't know that climate or type of activities you'd use the pants for, so those are factors in the decision to keep in mind.
If you're going to be doing more manual labor type things, go with a more comfortable, rugged pair. If it's for parades, in my personal opinion, go for the nicest looking pair.
etc. etc. etc.

For what little I do in duty pants, I prefer the Dickies from Wal-mart with the BDU pockets on the sides. They are pretty rugged and are pretty comfortable. Remember, you don't always have to fork out the big bucks for something you're only going to use every now and then.
