    Default Which safety vests?

Our department is looking to purchase some safety vests for MVA's and other incidents where we will be in the roadway to be in compliance with the new law. My question is do they have to be ANSI 207-2006 or is ANSI Class II or III ok, I haven't been able to get a straight answer from anyone on that question. Also, does anyone know of a good supplier to get them from. Thanks for the help.

Look in the Auto Extrication section. Ron Moore is knowledgable on the subject and there has been a few threads over there on this topic.

As far as a supplier, first you have to decide on a manufacturer. We have been looking at Spiewak and 5.11.

Management is making sure things are done right. Leadership is doing the right thing. The fire service needs alot more leaders and a lot less managers.

"Everyone goes home" is the mantra for the pussification of the modern, American fire service.

Comments made are my own. They do not represent the official position or opinion of the Fire Department or the City for which I am employed. In fact, they are normally exactly the opposite.
