My foster daughter (16yo) has runaway from her current placement and is thought to have hitchhiked from here (SE North Carolina) to Daytona Beach. She has no money or legal way of supporting herself and it is only time before she falls victim to some drug dealer or pedophile. If you are from that area, please contact me so that I can give you her info to post in your station. I am worried sick about her. Please help.

Like what they said above I would give out all her info like you were going to....give it to all the states from North Carolina all the way down to Flordia. Hope it all works out. Keep us updated. Also I put it on the Missing Kids Forums for you...keep it updated there if you can.

Some of her info is incorrect, not sure who the sheriff's dept got it from. She is 5'1" and around 145 lbs. She had a friend wire some money ($40) to Daytona Beach early on, so that's the only lead we have.

Thanks for everyone's concern. Still no word from her or tips concerning her whereabouts. I don't know what to think at this point. I just pray for her safety.

Thank you for your help! It's been almost two months and I can't imagine how she is surviving out there. I keep thinking that one day the phone will ring and she will want to set herself straight. Please keep your eyes open. All the prayers are very much appreciated!

I am sorry for your story. My grandmother lived in daytona beach. You should go down there and look for her yourself. It is a small town. You would do better looking for her yourself and searching for clues. I hope you find her.

Good news!!! I have heard that she has shown back up here in NC and has agreed to turn herself in tomorrow. She is supposedly in dire need of medical and psychological help. Don't have anymore information than that right now. I am laid up a home right now following surgery yesterday, but I will be doing everything I can to help her from home. Thank you for all your help and concern. It has helped to know that I'm not alone in this. THANK YOU!
