    Wish them the best of luck.. dont know that there is that kind of money in youngstown.. still never know when it could be... fingers crossed guys..

    Just saw that Youngstown Fire in OH received a SAFER grant for over $630,000 for hiring of 4 firefighters.

    So either the situations isn't all that bad or they will be possibly turning down the SAFER grant...

    Youngstown has had problems for years. I took a class a couple years ago with a guy that had been layed off and brought back already. It was a steel town years ago that has been hit hard by the industries changes.
