Just saw that Youngstown Fire in OH received a SAFER grant for over $630,000 for hiring of 4 firefighters.
So either the situations isn't all that bad or they will be possibly turning down the SAFER grant...The opinions I post to these forums do not represent any entity to which I am affiliated.

Youngstown has had problems for years. I took a class a couple years ago with a guy that had been layed off and brought back already. It was a steel town years ago that has been hit hard by the industries changes.
