    Default Jersey Shore Fire Depts

I am a firefighter in PA and for quite a while now i've been wanting to work at one of the career/combination fire depts on the jersey shore. Does anyone know when some of them may be hiring again and is it even possible for someone from PA to get a job at one of them? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ocean City, MD is a little farther south. They hire seasonal firefighters every year.

Most of the departments along the Jersey Shore are civil service. Atlantic City, Margate, Pleasantville, Ventnor, the Wildwoods, Ocean City, Lakewood, I think Cape May City is civil service. They all have residency requirements. The state is set to announce the next test in January. Then you have smaller combination departments like Northfield and Linwood. I think they hire from the volunteers, but I'm not 100% on that.
