Anybody else in the process for San Antonio. I just turned in my PHS and took the BPAD...
Wow, nobody else here is in the hunt for a spot in the next SAFD class?
On a side note, I'm currently in the middle of two processes (SAFD and AustinFD) and it amazes me how different the two processes are. The written tests are different styles and format. Austin does the oral board interview but no Bpad. SAFD does Bpad and a POLYGRAPH (aswell as med/psych) but no oral. Austin doesn't make you do a polygraph and seems much more layed back. The process for Austin also started much later and will finish about two months sooner.
I've been trying for about 3 years to get on one of these two departments and now I have a real shot at both. LOL. Oh well, first come first serve. Whichever city takes a shot with me first, that is who I will commit to...
