Does anyone know of any departments in the Austin, Tx area that are hiring?

No, but it is extremey easy to find out. Austin Fire and surrounding suburbs will all have websites and information about their hiring process.

Unfortunately, Austin just tested. So they won't be doing that again for about 1 1/2 - 2 years.

Georgetown FD, 30 minutes north of Austin just also hired.

Vegas did you get an interview? I could not remember if you posted your score or not. I am surprised we took so few to orals. Also surprisedwe are doing oral boards before CPAT....

I wish I had advanced!

I had a 90, and the advancing score was 92 and up.

Oh well, I'll just test with Houston for now, and Austin again next time around.
