I am restoring a 1956 B95 Mack. I have the bell, but the bracket, clapper and acorn nut are missing. I am looking for someone with a similar truck so that I can get photos and dimensions of the bracket to have one fabricated. Thanks.

B95 Mack Bell Bracket Needed

Are you a member of SPAAMFAA? If so I am sure you already went that route on your search.
There are some internet sources you may try. One is www.bigmacktrucks.com. Although it is primarliy for road trucks, they do have a fire apparatus sub-forum that may be of help to you. Quite a few B-Model enthusiasts in there that may help. I know that there are also several antique truck (and antique firetruck) "groups" on YAHOO. Go to yahoo and search the groups.
Have you tried Harvey Eckert? Harvey is a renowned MACK firetruck authority (has written several books on the subject) and also owns one or two, I think an L-Model and a B-Model firetruck. If you dont have his number, reply here and I will PM it to you (He is an old country gentleman and the last person on the planet not to have an email address...lol) Harvey may also have factory information such as blue prints or delivery photos of your truck, all you need to do is give him the serial no. As for the bell bracket, he may be able to tell you where to get one, or may be able to give you guidance on the dimensions.
