    Default Denver 2008

Anyone received a letter saying if they moved on from the written yet? I heard a rumor PAT was going to be May 17-18, but I haven't heard anything from the department.

I have not received a letter yet either. Have you been online to check your status?

Similar to both of you (gilberke, ampaulso) I have been looking for a letter as well. My Brother received his last week in the mail. I on the other hand have not seen anything. This might have to do with the fact that I am in WI. I know his letter stated his passing % and what his overall rank was due to that %. However, if you check your status online at http://www.denvergov.org/civilservice they simply tell you whether you passed or not. There is no other information.

The cut score was set at 81.5% for the written test. kmac97 better luck next time. I am sure that you will learn from this test and do well on others. That has been my experience.

I received my letter today. I did pretty well with my overall rank at 154. Whether this goes anywhere is anyones guess at this point. The letter simply stated that if selected to go further on in the process I will be notified by mail.

nice job, I'm 159. From what I hear they divided the passing individuals into 3 groups, I am in the second and assume you would be too. I don't know when the next step is going to begin for us but I heard rumors about doing the PAT next month

From what I know 80-81.5% means you "passed" but to go on to the next step they took scores of 94.2% or higher. I scored a 92.5% for my first time, so obviously it was very competative.

From what I heard the actual cut off score was a 94.2%, I scored a 92.5% and wasn't really that close number wise. First time for myself, and I would assume that where I missed was on some the situational questions.

Thats a great score, especially for your first time, just keep trying; you're only going to improve.
