:p Hello everyone! Yes, I'm a newbie. I hit up google to see if there was any information on Fairfax County's academy and I was lead to this site. So I've got my answers now, for the most part, and I would love to start dropping some input and asking my own questions, but my posts aren't going through.
I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I'm a newb.
I'm a paramedic/ firefighter originially from Va Beach. Did some time with VA Beach and then moved on to York County Fire and Life Safety. Moved out of state for 2 years and now I can't wait to get back home. I'm in the hiring process for Fairfax and I've got a couple of chances to get back in with York.
Hopefully, the east coast won't fail me, unlike the west coast has in it's interesting hiring processes. There's a whole book to be written about my experience out here. :\
