Our department had a single audit performed on our grants that we won by the City's auditing firm. If you purchase equipment over $25,000 go this web site to make sure the company that you are doing business with is not on the dissbarment list from doing business with federal govt. This is a requirement in your award document. If no matches are found for the company that you are doing business with, then a copy should be placed in your AFG binder/folder.

I just went thru a state grant audit this morning and was handed the paperwork that talks about this subject. Thanks for the heads up on this I got brownie points from my auditor because I had heard of this and knew what he was talking about.

You are welcome. I had to learn it the hard way. But, it is in there. The guildlines written; point out that you can't do business with a company on the disbarment list but the guildlines don't tell ya where to look for that.

It was only in the audit process our auditor told me.
