It’s been a long wait but I finally got my "selected" letter and i am getting ready to start the field investigation. I am a Deputy Sheriff and my background is near perfect except for one thing. I recently had to close my restaurant due to the recession. I had 3 business partners and we took out a SBA loan for the restaurant. Because the restaurant is now closed we can’t make our SBA payments. I pulled my credit report the other day and noticed there are late payments on my credit due to the SBA loan even though I had two other partners on the loan. Other than that my credit is perfect my score is still in the upper 700's.
Is this something I should worry about?
