okay so here is the new thread. USMCFFIGHTER last i heard is that they fully intend on a second class, and maybe one per test for the next few years so they can fill retirement spots.

hey trev, i have a random question.... the academy for your FW class started before the semester was over, how did you end up graduating? I have been wondering for awhile because that was a problem I was facing.

my last year i knew i was looking at fire department jobs so i decided to set myself up to where my last semester i was in only two classes, one was an independent study class and i finished it in a few weeks and the other one, well the teacher was willing to work with me since i left for fort worth only 3 weeks before finals. it actually worked out to where my final lab was the thursday before my rookie class started so as soon as it was done i moved that night. my teacher allowed me to email my last lab report and mail the last homework to him and then the fire department proctored my final exam for me. the only reason they did this was because it was the last test standing in the way of my bachelors.
it really was awesome how it all played out an i wouldn't have been able to do it without the help of the fire department or my OSU instructor. funny thing is that the osu instructor now doesn't teach that class, he was a little bit of a british *******.

he should have been contacted. has he changed his phone number, does he check his voicemail. i heard one of the "callers" say today that he left voicemails and have yet to hear back from a lot of them.

I'm an out-of-towner. So, when I arrive for the test it will be "one shot, one kill."
I've viewed the PAT on the website and created a makeshift course as a result. Basically, trying to familirize myself with the PAT scheme."Once You Find Something You Enjoy Doing, Then It's No Longer Work!"

Unless you stay a certain distance from Fort Worth. After the PAT every step will be mandatory.

I'll be there at 4pm. I'm sure you already know this, but stay hydrated. It was freakin' hot this past Saturday and it's probably going to be the same this weekend. Good luck to you, I'm sure you'll do just fine.
