Seems like we are getting some nice action over here on the west coast. I know for me I am right where the Cal wildfire just happened and now we have the Universal fire.

It appears that Roy, Johnny and the rest of station 51 were out on a call because they would have stopped this by themselves. Well maybe they would have specialed in the snorkel also.

I wonder if that's theatrical smoke coming from that movie lot that's on fire..... Just some food for thought on a slow, boring Sunday.

I'm listening to live feeds from the scene now using TeamSpeak.
"You see things and you ask, 'Why'? I dream of things that never were and I say, 'Why not'?

"I used to work in a fire hydrant factory. You couldn't park anywhere near the place."

I've been busy today and only caught a bit of this on the news while at a restaurant, but did I see the Chief of Department doing some PIO duties in a 1010 with a hand-painted gold front-piece? Nice!

Thanks. Even if you're not a fan of California, it's good to check LAFD's Flickr site pretty regularly. Their PIO does an excellent job of posting great photos of some pretty interesting calls.

He does.. I live and work in California, I think it's a great state. The internet is a great thing also. I was just pointing out how someone from another state can find something, even better than someone living in the state. Information has no boundaries...

Brian, you said it a lot more diplomatically than I was going to hehe

It had something to do with crawling and a certain part of Bou's anatomy.
