    Default hours/check?

I will start 24/48s on Wednesday with a payday this friday (this week's work not included on that check) then get paid every two weeks after that. How many hours on each check? does it vary?

The hours will vary depending on how many shifts you work in the week dude. IE: 2 shifts=48hrs on one pay week cycle and 3 shifts=72hrs on another pay week cycle. Take the total hours and multiply by your hourly wage. Add in any extra money you get paid for EMT certs and what-have-yous and VOLIA! You have a paycheck to deposit into your very own bank account. Subtract about 30% for taxes, whatever goes into your retirement, your deferred comp, any extra health insurance, and take the remaining $3.50and buy a hamburger.

We are on 24/48s and get paid once a week. Instead of high and low weeks we get paid on a 56 hour week every week.

We are on a 24/48 and we get paid every 2 weeks. We get a check with 105hr a 111hr and a 120hr respectively. Small check at the start of the month big check at the end... I don't know how it all works out but... As long as my check get deposited every two weeks... I'm happy lol...
