I did not know where else to post this one, so I figure why not here. Anyone have any info on being hired with Johns Hopkins APL in Laural, MD? I here they had some affiliation with the Navy, so maybe someone who reads this can help out.

Basically I heard if you don't know someone, you aint getting in. Can anyone confirm or deny this rumor? I just applied for Fire and Safety Officer.
