Doing research on apparatus replacememt and wanted to get feedback on other department's current policies:
1) What criteria does your department use for apparatus replacement? (i.e. years, miles, hours)
2) Does your department classify apparatus as light, moderate, and heavy usage?
If so, how is this classification made?
3) Does your department rotate apparatus between stations? (i.e. move busy apparatus to slower station)
4) Does your department run Quints?
If so, are they classified as ladder or engine?
Thank you for your feedback and time!
