Default Part time work if your Certified

A lot of areas are cutting back on hiring right now. Tax bases are reduced due to the economy. Some areas are much worse than others. Here in Michigan, it's horrible.

I hire firefighters in all 50 states plus Canada to do simple swap outs of Audio/Visual equipment, such as TV's and DVD players, in national retail stores and restaurants. Real simple AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE CURRENTLY WORKING FOR A FIRE DEPARTMENT. As long as you are a certified FF I can use you and you can earn $40-$50 an hour. It's not everyday, but it can help.

Who would have thought that Firefighters would ever be laid off or cut back on hiring!

Call or write me. I have 250 I use now but I need 3 x that many.

    Chief@pro-motion.us or call (800) 765-5020, ext.154 for information

    Good luck to us all.

The only glitch is that you have to work nights and have forcible entry experience.

Yeah, it figures George would pick up on that!
Hey aren't you up in the great N/W George? I could use some people up that way! (no entry tools required)
It's a legit $45million dollar a year company, no ski masks needed.

Not on your life. Any time anybody tells me multiple times that something is legit, its not. But thanks for the offer.

I am confused.... I find myself agreeing with George completely... I don't think that has ever happened before.

We use firefighters for a couple of reasons.
    1. I'm a retired Fire Chief
    2. Firefighters are prescreened for felony convictions.
    3. Firefighters are required by regulation to be neat in appearance.
    4. Firefighters are required to be physically able (not necessarily physically fit because we all know exceptions to this rule)
    5. Firefighters are task oriented. Tell them the task, they do it and return for the next task.
6.. The businesses like to have the firefighters in their business to do work as opposed to just anyone off the street.
    7. I never met a firefighter that had TOO much money.
    and last but not least.....
    8. Firefighters are family, and I'd rather take care of my own, thank you very much.

Alright. We got UH60GUY figured out. I talked to himand found out it was a mapping problem and we have actually been using a co-worker of his.
And not a problem, (new) shirt, brief case, ID and business cards will be shipped out tomorrow AM.

sorry again. You'll get work now. Hey! I was a Chief (remember CHAOS?)

    Default

I have to agree with UH60GUY.

It started out great with the TARGET job, but that was it. I think only two or three calls since. Well over a year, maybe two. Can't recall. It's been so long since I signed up and did the target job, and I live in CHICAGO. Gotta be tons of work here. So if you guys wanna do a couple jobs a year, it's all good. Definitely NOT consistent work.

I'm going to throw chief a bone and point out that the two people complaining don't even have 10 posts. They may be telling the truth... but it looks odd. and in this economy... nothing is regular unless you get your daily fiber.

Thanks. Actually when they signed up we only used them when one of our customers had an issue with something we sold them.
That's all changed. Now we have a ton of work and it will be something you can count on, not occasionally when something breaks down.

Hey, I've been trying to get Firefighters good safe side jobs for over 2 years now, and I finally got so much work for them, they can complain about being too busy! I don't care. We are still the best workforce out there.

By the way, since I added Cops and Medics, I changed the name to

    Hometown Heroes Workforce.

I am a certified FF I & II NPQ and Michigan and Georgia FF I & II. I am currently in Ann Arbor and out of work looking for a firefighter job. You post peaked my curiosity. Could you pass along some info about the part time work you describe.
    Thank you
