Hey guys, im new on here. I just graduated from high school and I am looking to become a firefighter. I would like to further my education in fire related fields in order to be as fully prepared and educated in this field as I possibly can. Other than that i don't really know what other steps to take as far as volunteering, fire academy, and tests. I am in good condition physically i am very active and i am a gym regular so i am not to concerned about that. I would like to be as fully prepared as possible and would appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance for your time and help.

my two cents
Take some EMT courses at one of your local colleges and volunteer at a fire station near you. You'll have your foot in the door in no time!
