WOW!!! Checked my email Friday and saw the words you like to see. Your Approved!!! We wrote a grant for some new air packs and we got the whole 26,000. This was the first grant we ever applied for so we are pretty happy. Good luck to every one!!!

I heard last night that another dept. from southern illinois was awarded. Haven't talked tot he chief to confirm so I wont say who it was. We still haven't heard anything yet.

My understanding was that if you weren't notified of an award, don't hold your breath. The rest of the money for the program hasn't been appropriated yet for the next "round."
