I already passed the CPAT for another county so I didn't have to take it. When I was contacted by the recruiting office they said that about 70 people were left BEFORE the CPAT so about 40 people left sounds about right.

How many people took this test last year?? Did they hire off of it?? I just took their test today and about 500 people max took it. I'm just trying to get an idea of what 2008's process was like compared to 2009's. I heard they were switching from 24-48 to 24-72 and if that's the case they'd have to hire this year to fill voids.

    Question

I'm also considering Annapolis....does anyone know when the next testing date will be?

will they accept scores from Washington DC or Prince William County VA?

just had a test a few day ago. would say it would be another year or so before they would have another test.

about the 24-72 switch. they had all ready fill them spots last year. this test and list is only being done to fill spots in the near. heard they would not have any spots to fill for at leat 8 to 10 months

Probably not until next year. They won't accept any scores as far as I know. It's a different test than I've ever taken anywhere

Right...you can apply but they probably won't test again this year. They ALWAYS have it as continuous ever since last Feb it's been open.

I haven't heard anything either. Tests that I took in NY State usually took upwards of 3 months to get the results. I'm looking forward to seeing how I did on the Annapolis test. Has anyone heard on whether Anne Arundel will be testing again soon?

Are you still considered on the Anne Arundel list even if you failed the CPAT for the current recruit class?

    Default Interviews

So I just got the email to schedule interviews. They said it will only be about 20 min. long. Has anyone taken this before? Is it a banter back and forth format or just scenario handling questions? Any help would be appreciated so I can prepare myself accordingly. Thanks!

I got an email today from HR, I passed the Oral Interview and am now awaiting further information about the CPAT. Just a heads up if anyone was waiting to hear from them. Myself and the one other person I know that interviewed both got an email.

So I got an email yesterday stating that I passed the Oral Interview stage and would be contacted with details regarding the CPAT. Anyone know how long it takes for them to run the CPAT after the Interview stage? Thanks.
