    Default Class A uniform & Commendation bars/medals

    So does anyone know if there is a set standard for which bars or medals are used for what in IL? I know where people can get them etc. but I also know that there are some States that have which is which. Just curious if anyone knows if IL does or if it is a jurisdictional or agency decision.
    The success of a fire department depends on the willingness of its members to put aside their differences and work for the benefit of the dept/community.

    Your best bet on this one may be to check with the AFFI..

    I know a few guys in the area that have started using bars and using Indiana's since they couldn't find any direction in IL.

    That's a good thought...I will try to see if they have any info.
