Default MIP, how will it affect me?

Hey guys this will be my first post!(just so you know)

When I was 19 I got an MIP. I did my probation and so on and my lawyer said after my probation was done it would be considerd a "none public record" or something like that. He also said if after probation it would be just considerd a civial infraction(like a traffic ticket)

So I guess this would be a question for those of you that had an MIP and got into a your carrer, and for you employers out there. Is it really a big deal? It seems like it would and would not at the same time.

P.S Im Going to school for fire/paramedic in michigan and planning to work in michigan once im done with my eduction. FYI

    Default Your fine

Just remember to disclose your MIP even though they said it would be off your record. Be honest don't get into any more trouble and do the right thing.

You will be fine the "Truth Will Set You Free"

Alot of the people in the departments that you will be applying for have MIP's and the ones that don't just ran faster then most their friends.
So witht hat said study hard and educate yourself.

Be confident but not cocky, listen and learn, and remember just because it says it in the text, does not always mean it is how it is done in the real world.

Medicine is an Art, anyone who tells you differently gets people killed.

    Minor in possession?
    probally alchol.
Be honest. Yes I did this and am sorry. This is what I have learned from. It was a foolish thing to do. I was hanging around with the wrong crowd at the time, and should have known better.

Wait are we not firemen? The only guys I know that do not drink are ones that used to drink. We were all kids once! You should go get a copy of your record from PD or have them run your license to see if it comes up. It would be much better if you told them and it never showed up than to not tell and it shows up.
